The Cache School Education (CSEF) is committed to the recognition, promotion , and continuance of educational excellence and higher learning. With the establishment of a fund, CSEF will award scholarships and grants to Cache High School graduates and Cache School System educators. CSEF will develop and maintain a seamless copperative effort with the Cache Public School District and is committed to both students and educators who achieve and maintain high standards in the education process. |
Purpose

CSEF is organized exclusively for scholarship and educational purposes that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501 C(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
The initial purpose of the organization is to carry on education and charitable activities, including the development of scholarship funds for post secondary education for graduated students of Cache High School and project grants for teachers of the Cache School District. |
General Requirements

To be eligible for CSEF Scholarship, high school students (Freshman thru Senior) must be enrolled in the CSEF program and must have completed graduation from Cache High School (CHS). An account of scholarship money per individual will be based on core courses, or equivalencies, completed during high school by the student with a grade of a B or better while enrolled in the CSEF program. Only classes taken which a student is enrolled in .
Students who do not graduate from Cache High School are not eligible to apply for the CSEF scholarship. Applicants with a GED do not qualify for the CSEF scholarship.

How do I qualify for CSEF?
|
1. Applicants must have been enrolled in the CSEF Program upon his/ her high school graduation. Applicants must complete and submit the application for CSEF scholarship money
2. Applicants must currently be enrolled in post-secondary educational programs. This includes public colleges or university, private college or university (including community and technical colleges). Schools must be non- profit and eligible.
3. Applicants must request award from CSEF within 2 (two) years of the date of graduation. |

ENCOURAGE STUDENT EXCELLENCE:
CSEF scholarships are awarded based solely on merit. Students must earn A or B letter grade in core courses (Math, Science, Social Studies, English) to earn scholarship monies. This provides additional incentive for students to enroll in more core courses and to put forth maximum effort to earn high grades as well. |

BECOME A CSEF MEMBER:
Members of the foundation shall be individual citizens who (1) are committed to the goals of the foundation, (2) willing to serve on committees apponted by the Board of Directors, and (3) pay a lifetime membership fee of $100.00. Members receive permanent recognition with their names inscribed on the "Tree of Knowledge" displayed proudly at the Don Colwell Multi-Purpose Center. |

FUNDS RAISED:
Funds raised to support the scholarships of CSEF will be generated through various fund raising activities supported by its members as well as friends and alumni of CHS. Monies raised for this program will be placed in an interest bearing account, determined by the Board of Directors.

MEMBERSHIP:
Members may join by contacting any member of the Board of Directors and providing check, money order, or cash for lifetime member dues.
TREE OF KNOWLEDGE:
Individual members and corporate donors making contributions of $100.00 or greater will be recognized on the CSEF Tree of Knowlege.

ALUMNI BRICK WALKWAY:
Bricks will be sold to Cache High alumni and staff with proceeds going to the CSEF scholarship fund. Bricks will be sandblasted with Alumnus' name and class year.
